Maidstone High Street near Sunset

A selection of shots showing the high street of the county town of Kent in a good “light” for a change. There is a channel between Bridges Restaurant and Matalan where the sun has the freedom to beam along Maidstone Bridge and one-way system and straight up the high street. Today, the sun was streaking up the street and looking good. It was also hiding behind the clock by the one way system, appearing both shy and comely all at the same time. The workmen were working – surprisingly. Well actually one was working and the others were watching but i don’t blame them – what a sparky show that diamond concrete cutter put on! I imagine they would take it in turns with such a fun piece of equipment.
