Stoneacre House in Otham

Stoneacre House is situated near Otham village in the depths of Kentish farm country, a little hidden treasure of a country home whose history dates back to Tudor times. It is of mostly timber-frame construction and is a good example of a Yeoman’s Wealden Hall-House – this a construction where a high ceiling hall with a large fireplace is flanked either side by stairs, rooms and multiple floors.
